Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil Review

I picked up the Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty. So it was a steal at $12! It's normally $23, so I was excited to get it at such a good price!

The box is black with silver and gold writing.

The brow pencil looks like an eyeliner pencil and is not a twist-up. It can be sharpened in a standard sharpener and I haven't had any problems getting a nice, sharp tip.

Opposite of the pencil end is a spoolie.

I have been using this brow pencil for the last couple weeks. It is easy to apply and glides on without leaving any bits of pencil. It adheres to skin well, while still looking natural. The spoolie end does a nice job of blending in the pencil for an even appearance. I have used this to line around my brow, as well as filling in sparse areas within the brow itself. Once it is on, it stays all day and doesn't transfer. I got the color taupe, which is consistent with taupe in Anastasia's other brow products.

If I were to rate this brow pencil against the other Anastasia products that I have, I would say Dipbrow is my favorite, the Perfect Brow Pencil is my second favorite and Brow Wiz is my third favorite. I like them all, but Perfect Brow Pencil is the most forgiving. However, I still like Dipbrow better because I feel like I can get a really precise line and then blend so that it doesn't look harsh. I like the Perfect Brow Pencil better than Brow Wiz because it's easier to apply. I feel like I have to be so careful when I trace the outline of my brow with Brow Wiz. However, Brow Wiz does a better job of drawing in individual brow hairs, as its tip is so fine.

Anastasia of Beverly Hills has excellent brow products and the Perfect Brow Pencil is no exception. It's a lovely shade of taupe, it's easy and quick to apply and it lasts all day. If you don't like using a separate brush to apply Dipbrow or you find Brow Wiz a bit too harsh looking, Anastasia's Perfect Brow pencil might be just what you need.
