Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm Review

I've read tons of great reviews on Makeupalley for Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm. Since I'm always on the lookout for something hydrating for my lips, I had to give it a try!

It comes in a really pretty box with a photo of honeycomb on the top.

It's packed with tons of moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, beeswax and sweet almond oil.

The pot is glass with a metal lid. It's quite weighty in the hand.

The balm itself is a golden honey color.

I was skeptical before I tried this because people rave about lip balms that I hate all the time. I like thick, emollient lip products and this Nuxe lip balm delivers. It's solid, but still soft, so it doesn't feel like you're pressing your fingers into a pot of wax. It's so comfortable! I love the way it feels! It doesn't have SPF, so I have been putting it on before bedtime and I can still feel it on my lips when I wake up in the morning!

It has a honey citrus scent that isn't overwhelming. It reminds me of herbal honey lemon cough drops. The smell fades after initial application.

I don't love dipping my finger in the container to get out the lip balm, so it wouldn't be one that I would take with me on the go. However, Nuxe does make a stick lip balm that I will have to try out.

In the meantime, I'm thoroughly enjoying the hydration and protection that Nuxe Reve de Miel provides! I recommend it for chapped, dry lips. For once, I agree with the hype!
