Turbie Band Microfiber Headband Review

I initially threw the Turbie Band Microfiber Headband into my Ulta cart to get the total up to $50, so that I could get free shipping. I thought it might be useful, but didn't have high expectations.

I've been a lifelong shower cap user when I wash my face or take a shower without washing my hair. The problem with shower caps is that you can't wash them and they don't really keep the hairline dry. The Turbie Band solves both these problems because since it's microfiber, you can wash it! Hurray! Also, it fits snugly and really does prevent my hair from getting wet when I wash my face. I've used it while showering on days that I'm not washing my hair and it works great for that, too.

I even wear the Turbie Band when I'm working out! (I work out at home.) It's handy because it holds my bangs out of my face and I can also tuck the rest of my hair into the band itself. No more ponytail whipping me in the mouth when I do plank-to-downward dog!

I know a lot of people use headbands for face washing and also for working out. Headbands slip out of my hair a lot and some are so tight that they give me a headache. They also don't do a lot to keep the hairline dry if you're washing your face.

After ordering that first Turbie Band, I got two more. I even got one for my husband! He loves it, too. His is purple. I have white, turquoise and pink.

I've had my Turbie Bands for a few months and they're holding up nicely. They are still soft, have not gotten pilly and the elastic has not gotten stretched out.

One note -  when you order these online from Ulta, you can't select the color. They just send you a color randomly. However, I've liked all the colors that I've gotten.

The Turbie Band was a surprise hit! No more shower caps for this girl!
