Swatch Sunday - Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick in Sheer Obesessed

When I heard that Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick was on sale everywhere, I resisted getting more. This lasted about three days. Then it was my birthday last Sunday and I totally caved! I ordered Sheer Streak and Sheer Obsessed from Macy's (it looks like they still have some in stock at the moment). I mean, they are $11! And it was my birthday!

So, Sheer Obsessed arrived the other day and it is just as pretty in pink as I had hoped.

As you might imagine, Sheer Obsessed is quite sheer and has a bit of a sheen on the lips. Like all the other Sheer Revolution lipsticks that I have, it is very comfortable to wear. Since it's a lighter pink, it is easy to apply and doesn't feather at all. Here's what it looks like on my lips:

When I first heard these were on sale, I was alarmed! Why would they discontinue such a great formula? But, fear not! Temptalia says that Urban Decay is launching their Vice lipstick collection in June and it will contain some of the Revolution formulations, but they will be in different packaging and will be $17 instead of $22! Color me excited!
