Tarte Tarteist Blush Palette Review

Until recently, I never wanted to try Tarte blushes because I'm pretty sure they used to have some type of oil in the ingredients. So that made me stay away. However, the ingredients in the Tarteist Blush Palette looked like they'd be friendly to my skin, so into my Ulta cart it went!

I'd been eyeing this palette for a while. The colors looked pretty and wearable and the palette is bright pink! My favorite color!

The box that it comes in bears the same pink paint strokes and was so gorgeous that I haven't thrown it away.

The palette features four blushes and has a built-in mirror.

The shades from left to right in the palette are Live (poppy coral), Laugh (peachy coral), Love (nude mauve), and Dream (soft fuchsia).

Touted as a, "whisperlight, pigment-packed powder blush" that is "powered by Amazonian clay and great for all skin types for 12 hours of fade-free wear." It is also vegan friendly. I found all of these blushes to be very pigmented, so much so that I had to blend them out. They sheered out nicely and looked very healthy without venturing into clown town. They lasted all day without fading and haven't irritated my skin at all.

Here are shots of me wearing all the colors.

My only tiny complaint is the names of the shades. Live, laugh, love and dream seem a bit like words you'd find on inspirational wall hangings at HomeGoods. But, I know it's part of Tarte's brand - they seem to like color names that I find annoying. Maybe I am just a grouch.

But, names aside, I love this blush palette! The packaging is bright and pretty and the blushes themselves are blendable, pigmented and very wearable. A lovely palette!
