Saje Refresh Energizing Mist Review

When we were in Vancouver for my birthday, we did a bit of shopping on Robson. As we walked by the Saje Natural Wellness store, I was drawn in by the intoxicating scent! I had never heard of Saje before, but it smelled a lot like Aveda (their products smell divine) and I had some birthday money burning a hole in my pocket. So we went in to have a looky.

After sniffing everything until my olfactory glands gave out, I decided to get a spritzer of the Refresh Energizing Mist

It comes in a brown glass bottle with a spray pump on the top. Here are the ingredients:

It cost $12.95 Canadian, so it was slightly cheaper for me with the exchange rate in our favor.

According the the Saje website, this mist is supposed to, "Boost your staying power with the brisk, refreshing effects of spearmint essential oil. Energizing lemon, soothing lavender, and clarifying eucalyptus help sharpen focus and keep your train of thought on track, while nurturing cedarwood and mild, spicy rosewood provide a grounding influence. Deeply hydrating, all-natural Refresh revitalizing mist invigorates your body and mind, no matter what kind of day you're having." To use this, they explain that, "With eyes and mouth closed, mist entire face, inhaling deeply. Use after bathing to refresh and rehydrate the skin."

I have been enjoying misting this on my body after a shower. It smells so spearminty and refreshing, just as you would imagine from the name. It's like a Jr. Mint for your skin, but more herbal and healthy. I can't say I've noticed that it's helped to sharpen my focus or keep my thoughts on track, but it is uplifting.

This scent fades almost instantly, so it's not like a perfume. It's really more like a facial mist. I don't know that I'd buy it again, but I'm enjoying spritzing it around because it smells so minty and fresh.

Next time I'm in Vancouver, I will definitely swing by Saje to see what other goodies they have for me!
