Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner Review

The first time I heard about Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner was in a Nikkietutorials video. I don't do glam looks like Nikkie, but I knew I had to have that eyeliner. Because, glitter!

So, I got Midnight Cowboy first and loved it! I couldn't wait to put it on and I asked my husband if it was too much to wear for lunch. He thought about it and said, "Well...", so I said, "How about dinner?" He nodded and smiled. That's why I love him!

I loved Midnight Cowboy so much that I had to get Junk Show and Amp, too. L to R are Amp, Junk Show and Midnight Cowboy.

These liners are basically liquid glitter. They come with a small brush applicator.

So you can apply a thin line or go for broke and brush the glitter all over your lid. I usually use these as liner over a brown or black eyeliner. They feel a little tingly when you apply, but that goes away and then my lids just feel normal. There is no sticky or tight feeling like you get when wearing false lashes and lash glue.

These liners wear all day and there is minimal glitter fallout. I have noticed one or two glitter flecks at the end of the day. I love wearing these with a simple look to give a pop of shimmer. They are definitely for days when you can wear whatever you want. I don't think glitter is really appropriate for most office settings. But outside of work, I think anytime is a good time for glitter!

I love Urban Decay's Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliners because they're easy to apply and they last all day without any irritation to my eyelids. These don't take any special skill - if you can apply eyeliner, then you can pop these on without any problems. These liners can take an everyday look and make it shimmery and bright! Not every day is a glitter day, of course, but I've been wearing these whenever I get the chance because they're so much fun! Glitter just makes things better!
